Betrayal / Forgiveness (song and poem by Perttu Kivilaakso)

All that I ever wanted

- to understand my nightmares

Possessed by my fears

Betrayed by my Pride

Alone I wandered in the deepest Dark

Seeking comfort from the vanity

Each time I escape the Real

My soul died, died a bit more

Confronting the evil within

Praying for my angel to appear

Agonized whisper into the emptiness

Begging for salvation - salvation for this cursed mind

Words without meaning

Touch without feeling

- I did not recognize my own face...

Eyes that were once shining

- now extinguished

Left only a silent cold

Sound of a tear falling down

In the desperate hour of loneliness

This shattered heart reaching

For it's relief - the relief it can not find

Glance without affection

Kiss without sensitivity

Promise without comprehension

Love without hope

-I do not remember my own tale...

Betrayed by my Anger

Betrayed by my Beliefs

Betrayed by my Delusions

Betrayed by my Lust

(I wish)

Strength - to be released from my demons

(I desire)

Wisdom - to forgive the past

- to forgive Me

Quoth the raven, 'Nevermore'

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
`'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door -
Only this, and nothing more.'

Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December,
And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow; - vainly I had sought to borrow
From my books surcease of sorrow - sorrow for the lost Lenore -
For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels named Lenore -
Nameless here for evermore.

And the silken sad uncertain rustling of each purple curtain
Thrilled me - filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before;
So that now, to still the beating of my heart, I stood repeating
`'Tis some visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door -
Some late visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door; -
This it is, and nothing more,'

Presently my soul grew stronger; hesitating then no longer,
`Sir,' said I, `or Madam, truly your forgiveness I implore;
But the fact is I was napping, and so gently you came rapping,
And so faintly you came tapping, tapping at my chamber door,
That I scarce was sure I heard you' - here I opened wide the door; -
Darkness there, and nothing more.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;
But the silence was unbroken, and the darkness gave no token,
And the only word there spoken was the whispered word, `Lenore!'
This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the word, `Lenore!'
Merely this and nothing more.

Back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning,
Soon again I heard a tapping somewhat louder than before.
`Surely,' said I, `surely that is something at my window lattice;
Let me see then, what thereat is, and this mystery explore -
Let my heart be still a moment and this mystery explore; -
'Tis the wind and nothing more!'

Open here I flung the shutter, when, with many a flirt and flutter,
In there stepped a stately raven of the saintly days of yore.
Not the least obeisance made he; not a minute stopped or stayed he;
But, with mien of lord or lady, perched above my chamber door -
Perched upon a bust of Pallas just above my chamber door -
Perched, and sat, and nothing more.

Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,
`Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,' I said, `art sure no craven.
Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the nightly shore -
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

Much I marvelled this ungainly fowl to hear discourse so plainly,
Though its answer little meaning - little relevancy bore;
For we cannot help agreeing that no living human being
Ever yet was blessed with seeing bird above his chamber door -
Bird or beast above the sculptured bust above his chamber door,
With such name as `Nevermore.'

But the raven, sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only,
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing further then he uttered - not a feather then he fluttered -
Till I scarcely more than muttered `Other friends have flown before -
On the morrow he will leave me, as my hopes have flown before.'
Then the bird said, `Nevermore.'

Startled at the stillness broken by reply so aptly spoken,
`Doubtless,' said I, `what it utters is its only stock and store,
Caught from some unhappy master whom unmerciful disaster
Followed fast and followed faster till his songs one burden bore -
Till the dirges of his hope that melancholy burden bore
Of "Never-nevermore."'

But the raven still beguiling all my sad soul into smiling,
Straight I wheeled a cushioned seat in front of bird and bust and door;
Then, upon the velvet sinking, I betook myself to linking
Fancy unto fancy, thinking what this ominous bird of yore -
What this grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt, and ominous bird of yore
Meant in croaking `Nevermore.'

This I sat engaged in guessing, but no syllable expressing
To the fowl whose fiery eyes now burned into my bosom's core;
This and more I sat divining, with my head at ease reclining
On the cushion's velvet lining that the lamp-light gloated o'er,
But whose velvet violet lining with the lamp-light gloating o'er,
She shall press, ah, nevermore!

Then, methought, the air grew denser, perfumed from an unseen censer
Swung by Seraphim whose foot-falls tinkled on the tufted floor.
`Wretch,' I cried, `thy God hath lent thee - by these angels he has sent thee
Respite - respite and nepenthe from thy memories of Lenore!
Quaff, oh quaff this kind nepenthe, and forget this lost Lenore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

`Prophet!' said I, `thing of evil! - prophet still, if bird or devil! -
Whether tempter sent, or whether tempest tossed thee here ashore,
Desolate yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted -
On this home by horror haunted - tell me truly, I implore -
Is there - is there balm in Gilead? - tell me - tell me, I implore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

`Prophet!' said I, `thing of evil! - prophet still, if bird or devil!
By that Heaven that bends above us - by that God we both adore -
Tell this soul with sorrow laden if, within the distant Aidenn,
It shall clasp a sainted maiden whom the angels named Lenore -
Clasp a rare and radiant maiden, whom the angels named Lenore?'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

`Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!' I shrieked upstarting -
`Get thee back into the tempest and the Night's Plutonian shore!
Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken!
Leave my loneliness unbroken! - quit the bust above my door!
Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted - nevermore!

By a Memory

By a Memory

She hides what she feels
Or is it that she's not feeling anything at all?
Why is she crying?
Hasn't she learned to get up when she falls?

She says she hasn't cried over something that's left behind
She tells me there's no use in remembering
But now something appeared in her mind
A memory she thought was lost in time.

She made a barrier to cut out the feelings
And now it appears in my reflection
A thin layer that could break itself so easy
A sweet prayer she thought could be heard by God.

She can't feel
She feels numb
1440 minutes slip away every single day
Overwhelmed by a memory she succumbs
Beaten, weaken, lost in dismay.

She cried night after night in her room
She heard something in her mind: "he still means something to you"
She hoped it'd be over soon
A way to fix her heart she couldn't find, a way to pull through.

She looked around breathlessly in dazed panic
Trying to move on in a way that's so mechanic
She couldn't feel alive anymore
And she forgot what it was life before.

Wish You Were Here...

Wish you were here...
Me, oh, my countryman,
Wish you were here...

I wish you were here...
Don't you know, the snow is getting colder,
And I miss you like hell,
And I'm feeling blue...

I've got feelings for you,
Do you still feel the same?
From the first time I laid my eyes on you,
I felt joy of living,
I saw heaven in your eyes...
In your eyes...

Wish you were here,
Me, oh, my countryman,
Wish you were here...

I wish you were here...
Don't you know, the snow is getting colder,
And I miss you like hell...
And I'm feeling blue...

I miss your laugh, I miss your smile,
I miss everything about you...
Every second's like a minute,
Every minute's like a day
When you're far away...

The snow is getting colder, baby,
And I wish you were here...
A battlefield of love and fear,
And I wish you were here...

I've got feelings for you,
From the first time I laid my eyes on you...

your company

The Barrier that Surrounds Your Heart

You thought things would be different
And you lower your guard after keeping it up for so long
You wonder about what it meant
And if you're holding on, if you're strong.

'Cause you feel like sinking in
Tears are coming to your eyes
Make an effort and take your own hands
Wipe them away and listen to what your heart demands.

You want it surrounded by a barrier
That could make you inmune to pain
Was it surrounded by one?
Until it was too late and now you see its remain.

Make a new one on your own
Now that love doesn't feel right
It will keep you safe
Through a day, through a night.

Does it make any sense?
Wanting doors closed and putting up a fence
Love makes you hurt and confused
And after some time you feel used.

Are you afraid?
Love is temporary and it'll finally fade
Could we be all our lives alone?
Walking through places unknown.

There's something I can tell
The barrier that surrounds your heart
Will make you immune to pain
It will never break you apart

And strong enough it'll be maintained

envejecer, morir,

es el único argumento de la obra.

Apocalyptica - End Of Me feat. Gavin Rossdale

Rosaries

Left under the mattress all those
Memories
Who could bear the witness?
As you slip into oblivion
Use it like a weapon

And I'm left to bleed,
Waiting for the moment when you've had your fun
A loaded gun

Take away your broken misery
I can't always erase your memory
This Love
This Love
Is gonna to be the end of me

Everything I gave is wasted
I'm the one whose suffocated
This Love
This Love
Is gonna to be the end of

Can't resist
Poisoning the message just a
Narcissist
Trapped inside the wreckage
And the sympathy I had is gone
Dead in by the ceremony

Drama queen
Stand behind your rampart
As your kingdom falls
All because

Take away your broken misery
I can't always erase your memory
This Love
This Love
Is gonna to be the end of me

Everything I gave is wasted
I'm the one whose suffocated
This Love
This Love
Is gonna to be the end of me

Your rescue
My undo
I'm not the one to save you
I'm empty
Completely
I'm drowning in your shadow

Take away your broken misery
I can't always erase your memory
This Love
This Love
Is gonna to be the end of me

Everything I gave is wasted
I'm the one whose suffocating
This Love
This Love
Is gonna to be the end of me

I can't chase away your ghost
Inside it only grows
Nothing left but misery
This will be the end of me

All the shit that you created
All the scars you celebrated
Couldn't take away your pain
Couldn't resurrect your name

This love will be the end of me

This love will be the end

Vincent Malloy Tim Burton's poem

Vincent Malloy is seven years old
He’s always polite and does what he’s told
For a boy his age, he’s considerate and nice
But he wants to be just like Vincent Price

He doesn’t mind living with his sister, dog and cats
Though he’d rather share a home with spiders and bats
There he could reflect on the horrors he’s invented
And wander dark hallways, alone and tormented

Vincent is nice when his aunt comes to see him
But imagines dipping her in wax for his wax museum

He likes to experiment on his dog Abercrombie
In the hopes of creating a horrible zombie
So he and his horrible zombie dog
Could go searching for victims in the London fog

His thoughts, though, aren’t only of ghoulish crimes
He likes to paint and read to pass some of the times
While other kids read books like Go, Jane, Go!
Vincent’s favourite author is Edgar Allen Poe

One night, while reading a gruesome tale
He read a passage that made him turn pale

Such horrible news he could not survive
For his beautiful wife had been buried alive!
He dug out her grave to make sure she was dead
Unaware that her grave was his mother’s flower bed

His mother sent Vincent off to his room
He knew he’d been banished to the tower of doom
Where he was sentenced to spend the rest of his life
Alone with the portrait of his beautiful wife

While alone and insane encased in his tomb
Vincent’s mother burst suddenly into the room
She said: “If you want to, you can go out and play
It’s sunny outside, and a beautiful day”

Vincent tried to talk, but he just couldn’t speak
The years of isolation had made him quite weak
So he took out some paper and scrawled with a pen:
“I am possessed by this house, and can never leave it again”
His mother said: “You’re not possessed, and you’re not almost dead
These games that you play are all in your head
You’re not Vincent Price, you’re Vincent Malloy
You’re not tormented or insane, you’re just a young boy
You’re seven years old and you are my son
I want you to get outside and have some real fun.

”Her anger now spent, she walked out through the hall
And while Vincent backed slowly against the wall
The room started to swell, to shiver and creak
His horrid insanity had reached its peak

He saw Abercrombie, his zombie slave
And heard his wife call from beyond the grave
She spoke from her coffin and made ghoulish demands
While, through cracking walls, reached skeleton hands

Every horror in his life that had crept through his dreams
Swept his mad laughter to terrified screams!
To escape the madness, he reached for the door
But fell limp and lifeless down on the floor

His voice was soft and very slow
As he quoted The Raven from Edgar Allen Poe:

“and my soul from out that shadow
that lies floating on the floor
shall be lifted?

Nevermore…”

Oh! angel take me away....

JUDAS PRIEST - Angel

Angel - put sad wings around me now
Protect me from this world of sin
So that we can rise again

Oh angel - we can find our way somehow
Escaping from the world we're in
To a place where we began

And I know we'll find
A better place and peace of mind
Just tell me that it's all you want - for you and me
Angel won't you set me free

Angel remember how we'd chase the sun
Then reaching for the stars at night
As our lives had just begun

When I close my eyes I hear your velvet wings and cry
I'm waiting here with open arms - oh can't you see
Angel shine your light on me

Oh angel will we meet once more - I'll pray
When all my sins are washed away
Hold me inside your wings and stay
Oh! angel take me away

Put sad wings around me now
Angel take me far away
Put sad wings around me now
So that we can rise again

The day has come!

The day has come!

A correr!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Se apagan la luces del Ricardo Saprissa y empieza The Ecstasy of Gold  no me pude contener y empecé a llorar y llorar! Toda mi emoción incremento como al mil porciento donde empezó Creeping Death, For Whom The Bell Tolls y Wherever I May Roam esta ultima una de mis canciones preferidas del black album! Ride The Lightning y Fade To Black me hicieron verlos en el pasado tan grandioso que los ha hecho crecer. That Was Just Your Life, The End Of The Line y Sad But True se vuelve a repetir un ciclo como del principio una emoción incontrolable y un piezón del Black Album awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Como siempre dice James “This song is dedicated to you, to the fanatico de Metallica” Lo que no te mata de hace más fuerte!! YEAH!.

Palabras tan sabias dijo una vez James: "People come and go and the song still means something" algo digno de reflexionar.
Metallica is coming! ^^

No matter how far....

- James Hetfield

Por quién doblan las campanas... For Whom the Bell Tolls

Ernest Hemingway

When tears could talk :'(

Something very strange, happened to me the other day
When I was crying miserably in my room
I heard a harmony of voices that said
“Oh how long we have waited to talk to you!!”

I looked around breathlessly, in dazed panic
And heard another whisper in my ears
It felt so warm, like a loved one’s breath
And I couldn’t believe they were talking, my tears!

“Why do you call us so often?” They asked,
“Don’t you know we have sorrows of our own?
“We try so hard not to fall
But then, we cannot leave you alone”

Furious, I shot back at once
“What do you mean, sorrows of your own?
“Show it when I am in the middle of a crowd
Rather than catching me when I'm all alone"

The tears went numb, for a while
Making me wonder if this was even real
I was going to shut my eyes
When they said, “It’s because we know how you feel”

“We know every crevice of your shattered heart,
And we recognize every colour of your pain
We try so hard to heal your wounds
But you ruin it by crying all over again”

“And you cry for things that are lost in the past,
How can you expect us to retrieve it for you?
We can only rain in with memories that are lost
Believe us, we know what’s best for you”

“You cry for people who are not even worth it,
When will you realize how precious we are?
We were made for the ones, who deserve it
And who know the value of a single tear drop”

“And you cry for a future you have not seen
How can you already let it haunt you?
You will never really know how good it is
And if you keep insisting we obscure you”

“Yes, we have sorrows of our own,
Because we are the words you will never say
And that’s why we catch you when you are alone
So you can understand us in a better way”

“Through your eyes we have seen your broken world
And all the people who have hurt you
We have seen every defeat you have suffered,
But now it’s time to see it through”

I felt like I was watching my life from afar,
And for once it didn’t seem dark and bleak
I felt it touch the deepest corner of my heart
And I knew this was really happening to me

I smiled a little, as the tears did too
And suddenly I found a reason to live
As the tears one by one, became very few
I couldn’t wait for the life ahead of me

And just when I thought I had cried it all,
I heard a deep whisper, like a person’s last words
“.....Remember when we’re in your eyes in your happiest moment,
That is when you will truly have defeated the world...”
